# BastionXP Cloud - Getting Started

In this guide, you'll learn how to login and try the Cloud Hosted Version of BastionXP SSH and X.509 Certificate Manager (CA) (opens new window) running in our cloud servers. It is absolutely FREE to try for 30-days. No credit card required.

If you are interested in trying BastionXP Enterprise version in an on-prem server, please follow the BastionXP Enterprise On-Prem guide.

Note:

The cloud-hosted version runs the enterprise version of the BastionXP software and is offered as a free trial for a limited period (30-days).

The BastionXP instance created will be running in our cloud servers. After the free trial period ends, you have the option of converting it into a paid subscription. If not, the instance will be deleted automatically and all your data will be purged.

Please write to [email protected], if you would like to extend the free-trial period for extending testing purposes.

# Creating a new account

Login to our cloud server (opens new window) using your preferred SSO OAuth provider such as Google G-Suite or Microsoft 365.

After you login to the cloud service, you can add your servers, team members, define roles and logins for your team members.

# Add Team Members and Define Roles

BastionXP supports Role Based Access Control(RBAC). The Roles and Logins feature in BastionXP PKI/CA can be used to define roles according to the roles in your team. It is simple, yet very flexible in defining user roles and logins.

Using the Roles feature, you can define new roles. For each role, you can define the logins needed to access servers or compute resources that belong to your team.

Learn more about how to define roles and logins, how to add team members to your account, and how to apply the roles to your team members in this documentation guide: How to define roles and logins
